LOG LINE: Set against the background of the rural sheep community of Willyama Australia, Broken Hill is the story of a young teen, Tommy McAlpine, who struggles against his family, cultural stereotypes and a dearth of musical talent in his small town to prove himself a gifted composer. In order to secure a crucial performing arts scholarship Tommy turns to a nearby federal prison in hopes of finding enough talented inmates to finally bring his music alive. |
